Showing the world what Japanese fans are like!
For those who know what Japanese fans are like, the sights from the Club World Cup come as no surprise, with the Urawa Red Diamonds fans being one of, if not the most, passionate and well-organised group of fans so far.
The South American teams are famed for their passion; Boca Juniors being the standout name that instantly comes to mind. However, I believe it's about time the J-League fanbases get their due credit for their equally passionate football fans.
Perhaps Japan's clean-cut and polite image has clouded the raw passion you see from Japanese fans, which in one way is a good thing, as ask any one outside about Japanese fans, their reviews will only be glowing.

A Chance To Show The World
Despite this, as any football fan will tell you, a fanbases sound, passion and ability to boost their team is something which every fanbase is proud of. I only wish more Japanese teams get their chance on big stages like the Club World Cup to show off their sensational support for their J-League teams and really remind the world of their passion.
With the World Cup coming in 2026 and Japan's national team seemingly looking in a strong shape, I'm excited for another chance for Japanese fans to be centre stage again.
